Our Pupil Premium Strategy and Review
Pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils and close the gap between them and their peers. The amount received is dependent on the number of children who are eligible and have claimed for free school meals at any time in the last six years (this categorisation changed in 2012). All schools are required to report on the amount of funding and how this is being used. Our Pupil Premium Strategy outlines how we will use the funding to improve the attainment of our disadvantaged pupils and the attainment of all. Click the link on the side to find out more.
Our Sports Premium Strategy and Review
Sports Premium Funding is a Government initiative that aims to enhance and improve the provision of PE and to increase the activity levels of children in primary schools.
The amount of funding each school is allocated depends on the number of children in the school: schools with 17 or more eligible pupils receive £16,000 and an additional payment of £10 per pupil (in Years 1 to 6). Our Sports Premium Strategy outlines how we use the funding to improve the provision for all our pupils. Click the link on the side to find out more.
