Our topic this term is: How Can I Make It?

Through playing and exploring, children will learn to construct with a purpose. They will develop the use of a range of materials and tools and can begin to use them in different and unusual ways. Communication and language lies at the heart of learning, talking, or maybe even recording, what they are going to do, sharing resources with their peers, as well as beginning to evaluate how successful they have been.

As we begin to make links between our ideas, we make choices, check how well we are doing, concentrate on achieving what we set out to do and review our progress.

Postbox Trip!

The Orange Class went on an exciting expedition outside the school grounds. We walked like Respectful Rhinos to the local postbox to post a Christmas Surprise to our families. Keep an eye out for some special post!

Circles and Triangles

This week we have started our learning about shapes, with a focus on circles and triangles. Look at the pictures we have made using the shapes.

Remembrance Day

We have found some creative ways to make our own poppies this week, which we have been wearing with pride to remember the brave soldiers who helped to keep our country safe.
